RADON TESTING

What is Radon?

Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive colorless, odorless gas that can cause lung cancer. It is a decay product of Uranium.

Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Smokers exposed to radon have a higher risk of developing health problems.

Radon is responsible for 21,000 - 25,000 deaths in the United States a year.

Radon concentration is highest in a home during the winter due to closed house conditions to retain heat.
